Wise Owls programs are designed to support seniors within their home, with a goal to assist clients to maintain a healthy & happy lifestyle. Services include friendly visiting, menu planning & meal preparation, pet care, errand & social assistance, transportation, support liaison and home support. Plans are individually tailored for each and every client.

Alberta Health Services (AHS): AHS offers mental health therapy and addictions counselling for children, adults and older adults.
Services are offered daily, via virtual sessions. Available Monday - Friday, from 10AM - 12PM and 1PM - 2PM.
Rapid Access Counselling (RAC): RAC provides you and your family with a supportive, change-focused conversation at the right time. RAC is real help, within the reach of every Albertan.
It is tailored to support caregivers and children with a focus on healthy child development, supporting caregiver capacity, and promoting resilience within the family.

Take a break from mealtime stress. Available to Alix and Area residents. Home-style meals are delivered up to three days a week at lunchtime. Hot and frozen options can be ordered. Meals are delivered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Bethany Group, partnered with the Lacombe Foundation, offers subsidized apartment housing in Alix at the Lakeview Manor and in Mirror at Lamerton Place. The apartments are intended for seniors 65+, but those under 65 can rent based on need and when suites are available.
